Museum of Natural History : I spent a few hours touring the Museum of natural History in London. Needless to say, I was completely taken aback at the sheer size and quality of the exhibits. The queue was simply too long for the dinosaur exhibit so I will have to come back to take more pics. This was one of my early favorites in the city as museums are free, and this one in particular is amazing.

Camden Market : I'd always walked northwest from my flat, so I decided to finally try walking southeast today. I was glad I did! I walked around for several hours checking out all the different stalls. I picked up some incense and promised myself I'd return. On February 9th, 2008, a fire broke out in the market and it burned to the ground. We could see the smoke from our flat. I sincerely hope it is rebuilt.

Hampstead Heath : Having thought I'd seen most of what was around me, I was shocked when I first walked through the Heath. It's larger than Central Park in New York. You can easily get lost along the myriad of footpaths, hills, woods, and lakes. These pictures do not do it justice.

Corpus Christi Procession, Margaret St : Once a year, the All Saints' Church has a Corpus Christi procession from Margaret Street down Oxford St. I was going to grab some dinner with some Framestore guys but instead I stopped to take pictures and shoot some video of this. Good timing, eh?

O2 Wireless Festival : I took a half a day off and headed down to Hyde Park to check out the O2 Wireless Festival. As it was in a park, cameras were allowed--something I'm not used to at a concert. I mainly went for The White Stripes and soon discovered that every other band that was there, more or less, completely sucked.

Star Wars Celebration Europe : Despite both of us having pretty bad head colds, we headed down to the Royal Victoria Dock to check out Star Wars Celebration Europe. It pretty much sucked; it paled in comparison to events such as Comic-Con where attendence is regularly in the tens of thousands per hour. Here, it seemed to be a few thousand all day. Not sure what's up with that.

Richmond Park : I heard about this place from a coworker who lives in the area. We decided to take the District Line all the way to its terminus and then ride on a bus the rest of the way. It took over two hours to get here from North London, but it was worth it. We rented a couple bikes for three hours for £26, stopping to take pics along the way. It wasn't very crowded as it was very cold.
