Kind of a cool waterfall near the beginning of our trek.
Gina packs only the bare essentials.
Greg inspects one of the many trees in the area.
We'll be going up and over that grey mountain in the middle. But first, we veered to the left and went up, then across to the right.
Heading up to the ski lodge (the green building in the upper middle of the frame). We stopped there for a quick lunchbreak. Unfortunately the lodge itself was closed but there was indeed an outhouse next to it, and yes it had a little moon on it.
It was weird to think a few hours later, we were hiking on top of that ridge at the top, heading east.
Heading up to the summit, I believe we were at about 8000' at this point. In the distance is Upland/Pomona.
Looking southeast from about 8000'.
Same angle as the previous photo, but zoomed in on the city.
We made it!
Gina snapped this pic of Greg and Paul chillin' on the summit while I was walking around taking pics.
